Self-Regulation can be difficult for many students. In years past, teachers have been able to use calming corners in their classrooms to allow students to take a break to practice self-regulation skills and return to learning with minimum distraction. I am hoping to create individual self-regulation kits for students to use at their seats, without having the need to share items due to CDC recommendations to decrease the spread of COVID-19.
Kits that include various sensory items including, stress balls, or brain teaser fidgets will be placed in individual pouches for students to keep with their learning materials.
