Each student will receive a copy of their own book at home during their remote learning experience due to the high-risk area in which we are located. This will give them the opportunity for a refreshing change to the vast amount of screen time they will be forced to endure during their first nine weeks of school.
Having the opportunity to read this book will allow for the students to get a real-world experience of an actual student living in the same place where the main character in the book lives. The kids would be thrilled to see someone their age experiencing the same things they do.
