The students need tangible items that motivate and drive their behavior. We are a Title I school, and our students enjoy receiving rewards that they might not otherwise get to have on a daily basis.
We have seen the benefits of rewarding positive behavior. Rewarding our students with positive behavior through their choice of a prize helps motivate students to follow all rules and expectations. Rewarding students will increase the likelihood of appropriate behavior. This will also enhance the learning environment for all students. We hope that our positive behavior management system eliminates negative behavior and increases appropriate behavior for all classrooms.
