Our students come from a poor socioeconomic area. Over 95% of the students qualify for reduced lunch and struggle everyday with just simply getting enough to eat. But, they are extremely hard working and respectful. These students enjoy sports and use it as an alternative to gangs and violence. My students are surely not the best athletes at the school, they play football to be part of a tradition and embrace the team concept as another type of family. I always tell my students that I will help them with anything they need to help them be successful, they want new footballs! Our motto is Academics and Athletics with Pride and Perfection. Please help.
