My students are some of the most resilient, determined, and inspiring young people you could ever meet. Each day, they come to school ready to learn, despite facing challenges that many of us can’t imagine. All of my students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds — many from low-income families who struggle to meet basic needs. Some of my students live with foster families, others are being raised by relatives, and a few have no stable place to call home.Even with these challenges, my students show incredible strength and perseverance. They are eager to learn, curious about the world, and full of potential. Our classroom is not just a place for academics — it’s a safe, welcoming space where students can feel valued, supported, and hopeful for their futures. Your support helps give them access to the resources, experiences, and tools they need to thrive — not just in school, but in life.
