This is my first year teaching kindergarten so I opted for the necessities. Every kindergarten classroom needs a calendar, engaging books, counters, art materials, and writing journals. I chose materials that I can use both in a classroom setting and remotely. I will use the calendar daily and have them write in their journals often. I want each of my students to have a set of their own fun counters. Lastly, I want them to have a love for reading so I will be reading to them daily. There is a lot of uncertainty right now, but no matter what I am in this for them.
