Our Music Class offers lots of learning pertaining to see, hear, touch, sing, and write. The rug in the back of the room help younger students to stand outside the circle or sit on the edge of the circle.
Singing games are the first thing my classes do when coming to music. They love the hands on learning with rhythm instruments as we talk about steady beat and rhythms. The white boards give them the opportunity to create their own notes or rhythms, depending on their age. We use them for pop quizzes as they can easily hold up their answers for me to see.
