In a world filled with political polarization, global illness, and tense cultural strife, I desire to provide my sixth grade class with a positive human experience through a class set of the book 鈥淲onder鈥 by R.J. Palacio. A class set of 鈥淲onder鈥 will allow my students to participate in the grade level unit at the same time as their peers from other classrooms. I believe my students would greatly enjoy reading the story and deserve to start the school year with a powerful message of overcoming difficulties despite staggering odds.

About my class
