Our school is in a beautiful rural area. As beautiful as it is, one of my goals with my students to expose them to the idea that there is a whole big world outside of our small home base, and that that big world is definitely worth exploring and learning about.
I have students this year from diverse backgrounds and diverse skill and knowledge levels. Instructional materials and activities that catch their interest will help me to grow future geniuses with a thirst for learning.
