The materials I have chosen will give me the opportunity to help my students reach their true potential. Projects such as “Expressive Paper-Mache Pumpkins” or “I am Important Self-Portraits, help guide my students toward success and encourage engaged senses. As a school our goal is to strive to teach our children that it is okay to be "you". Students will have the opportunity to use these resources to do just that.
In the world we are living in today, our children are immersed in technology and some lose the ability to be creative and use their imagination. Art teaches students to strive to create new worlds and new characters through their imagination. Projects such as “My Little World” and “Pocket Friends” bring a child’s interest to our work tables.
Please help me reach my goal!
