We love to celebrate all genres in our school library and let students explore each one to figure out the ones they love the most. This year we decided to genrefy the library to make it easier for our students to locate their books.
However, as we genrefied, my assistant and I realized several sections lacked reading materials.
As we enter October we will be celebrating the Horror/Supernatural and we only have a handful of books for our students to choose from on the shelf. Therefore, most of the books are on the list fall under the genre we will be celebrating. Also on the list there are a few new releases that I know my students will love from the other genres we celebrate.
