I want to be able to provide a safe space for my students in the classroom when they need a brain break. I teach special education 3-5 and will have a variety of students with different needs and abilities. Having a safe space can provide a good break for the students. It not only is a nice place to relax for my students who need a break, it also allows them a space to feel supported and respected. I know having this space will be beneficial for my students, I will provide them with comfortable seating and a carpet.
