Hello! I am a second year teacher, BUT this is my first in person! I am equally excited and nervous to meet my new second grade friends! Last year we were completely virtual so I did not need as many tools to help my friends be successful in our virtual classroom. This year I am looking forward to using manipulatives and other engaging activities that were not allowed last year. My students come from low income households and do not have access to these tools. The items I have listened will help make a sound learning block in both math and ELA. These resources include many great math manipulatives and great books to add to our classroom library to help promote strong reading skills.
