The flexible seating materials and Social Emotional Prompts will help get students excited about the return to school and support them in a socially-distanced classroom. School will look very different this year and these materials will make the transition fun and engaging as we integrate socially-distant movement breaks during the day. The lap desks and yoga mats will allow me to give students yoga and movement breaks during learning. They will also allow them to move around the classroom in a safe, socially-distanced way. The Social Emotional Prompts will support students as they integrate back into the school environment after 6 months at home. All students have been touched in some way by COVID-19 and these prompts will help us discuss their concerns and become more resilient in the process. Please help me make this return to school as comfortable and welcoming as possible for my students.
