The rug will be used numerous times throughout the day, beginning with our Morning Meeting first thing each day. As we connect with each other, we will maintain personal space and follow all the COVID protocols. My students will continue to use this rug throughout the day for meaningful read alouds, mini lessons in reading, math, science on the classroom easel, partner work, reading independently with their new books, and so much more. This rug will provide a colorful and safe space for students to feel comfortable as they engage in learning in my classroom!
