These diverse and social emotional learning books will be used in the first few months of school as students adjust to the new year. Some of the book cover topics like social distancing and mask wearing and will help students understand and adjust to the "new normal." These books will help students handle some of the big feelings that they have. I am a librarian and will be going to 33 different classes this year. These books will help me have engaging and powerful conversations with students about pertinent and timely topics.
