This is my first year teaching and the students are so excited to be back in the classroom. One of my biggest goals as a teacher is to get my students to love and feel motivated to read. In fact, some of the only homework I will be giving this year will be to pick a book that interests them and read it consistently throughout the week! However, the school does not supply our classrooms with books and the students are not allowed to go to the library to check out books due to COVID! I have been picking up a few books from used stores but I would love to have newer books that could really excite the students. The books I picked are student favorites like the I survived series and even captain underpants. (I know captain underpants is not the most "educational" read but it is something that will excite my students!) Any help would be amazing!
