My students will be learning Physics and why shouldn't I introduce them to programming as well. Science is a huge field andeery branch helps the other and they walk hand in hand. With the Ozobots my students will have something new to help launch themselves into science.
Ozobots bring higher level thinking skills to students, push them to think outside the norm. I will be teaching my students the same old Force and Motion lessons. They have had this lesson in Elementary school. But with the Ozobots they can really apply this in a new atmosphere. They can use the coding to compare Time, Distance and Speed.
They will program these Bots with the information and tables given and SEE with their own eyes the difference and how this works. Not the boring read a math problem and just imagine what is going on. DO IT YOURSELF! Here is the problem, program your Bot to see what is actually happening.
Learn many new things at once and have fun learning them. This is what I want for my students, excitement and to leave the class talking about the lesson of the day. Get other students interested and maybe join the class the next year. Open a students eyes, you open their mind
