This project will allow me to use some new tools to create dynamic lessons that will be able to reach all learners. The iPad is an amazing tool to create explanations and provide feedback to students. However, a keyboard and pencil will help me really be able to connect and respond to students with more context.
The books will help me to learn about ways to implement new strategies to help students become more aware of how to decipher what is factual information and which is not. The books will also help me to utilize more writing activities with the middle school population.

Generate supporting documents that will lead to inquiry and research on compelling issues within the discipline.

Seek multiple media sources when investigating current issues and evaluate the credibility and reliability of each.

Construct organized explanations for various audiences and purposes using evidence and reasoning.
After spending up to 10 hours a day on the computer, hosting live sessions, responding to emails, grading work, and working with kids one on one, the long hours can be a bit much. To be able to use a standing desk would help me with functionality and be able to focus on helping my students.
