By using Osmo, I will be able to teach abstract concepts to my students, something that is often difficult for those with Autism or Intellectual Disabilities, through hands-on experiences. Language and communication skills, academic skills, and creative skills are only a few of the areas that can be targeted by using Osmo games.
In addition to Osmo being a fun learning experience at school, Osmo will benefit my students during distance/virtual learning as well. My students struggled during the COVID-19 school closures in the Spring of 2020, but being able to use the Osmo games to interact with my students during video chats and recorded lessons will benefit my very visual learners immensely.
