All students want to do labs in science classes. Studying space during the day is almost impossible. Students love to look through a telescope, but they rarely receive it because class is during the day. By having access to a solar telescope, they safely be able to have the experience during the day, seeing the sun, sunspots and because of the abilities of this telescope, even surface features.
Students will be able to photograph and video through the scope to make content they can share with fellow home-bound students.
Telescope will be shared with other Astronomy and Space Science teachers for multiple years.
