Virtual learning can be difficult and boring for primary students. This project with help create engaging lessons that can be used in my live sessions. As a reading teacher, it is vital that my first grade students understand and master the foundations of phonics and literacy in order to set them up for success in the future. My lessons from TPT will include phonemic awareness games, stories followed by comprehension activities, and digital activities to build their vocabulary. These resources will be integrated in our live virtual sessions to allow for greater understanding of the concepts being taught. These multi-purpose activities will help students build on all aspects of literacy development while learning to interact and collaborate with their peers in an online setting.
