Virtual learning has been challenging for all. Virtual learning has been especially challenging for the transitional kindergarten students at our school. Transitional kindergarten provides students the opportunity to gain the skills needed to be successful in kindergarten. In order for each little learner to have a chance to succeed in kindergarten and gain the skills necessary in the virtual setting, I need help providing them with the tools to be successful.
I want to make the virtual learning experience an equitable one for all students. The materials will be used to help create hands-on interactive learning folders. These folders will be used during and after class to enhance learning. Students will be able to trace letters as we learn how to write them, practice writing their name, identifying letters, and more. Other materials will also be provided to students to help build fine motor strength as well.
These materials will help each student become successful, more engaged, and take charge of their own learning.
