Technology is an important aspect in education, and it is specifically built into our curriculum. In addition to computers, it is especially important to have individual headphones do to the Covid-19 pandemic. I strongly believe that individual headphones will help increase the effectiveness in teaching phonemic awareness, allowing students to hear sounds and correctly articulate responses. In addition, individual headphones will help eliminate household noises and family distractions during school hours. When in-person classes resume, these headphones will continue to be used by that individual student and will eliminate cross-contamination use by other classmates.
