Thank you so much for visiting my classroom page and considering a donation to my project.
In these unprecedented times, I want my students to feel safe, loved, and supported as we embark upon a new school year together. These supplies will help me prepare my classroom for a wonderful year of learning - even if it looks different than our traditional time together. Because this is a brand new special education program, I am tasked with building it up from the ground level, so we need even basic school supplies like journals and Post-it notes. Because we are a "high-need" population, we will be part of a small cohort of people who will be in the building no matter the progress of the global pandemic. Students will be attending a mixture of in-person classes and Zoom classes, though all from my classroom, so technology (such as the Sony headphones) will allow students to participate in their individual courses from the same room. We also need plenty of cleaning supplies to keep our space safe. Cleaning and protection supplies (including the Acrylic Sneeze Guards) will help us be able to share space for teaching and learning, while still keeping us safe and healthy.
It is important to me that students feel at home when they walk in the door so that they are ready to learn and grow together as a community. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom -- a space that means more to my students and to me than ever before.
