My county is going to begin 100% virtually for the 2020-2021 school year. Many students, but especially low readers and reluctant readers, have a very difficult time reading long passages digitally. I am looking to make sure my students have access to tangible books they can read at home during these difficult times.
In order to properly teach my students about diversity and diverse experiences within my curriculum, I need hard-copy books to help my students learn while in their own homes. Having these books will not only be beneficial to low and reluctant readers, but they will also be important to our students who do not have consistent and reliable access to internet. Please help us put a book into every student's hand to make this difficult year a little easier.
