As a first year teacher, I am lacking many of the basic organizational items needed to help my students become successful learners. Part of my job is to help my students become more independent. I need this sixteen drawer rolling cart to hold supplies needed for daily work and centers. With labeled drawers indicating the location of things such as scissors, crayons, and dry erase boards, my students will be able to find what they need to work independently.
Not every student comes to first grade being able function as an independent learner. While I am proud of the learning environment I have created, I need this cart to help my students succeed.
