This project will help my students in many different ways. If my project is funded, I will be able to make more student-centered lessons, that will allow my students to be more engaged in their learning. I will be able to let each student in my class have their own dry erase board. We will use these to help tap into prior knowledge in a lesson, review for a test, practice vocabulary and spelling words, etc. The engagement of my students will increase tremendously with dry erase boards. I would use them to engage every student in every single lesson. I will be able to identify who is grasping the concepts and who's not. Students love them, because they are fun. Mistakes made can easily be brushed away, and try again.
