Learning in the classroom with these plastic foods, will give a student more confidence to make better choices when at home or on their own.
Students will be using the plastic foods to explain what health benefits their are in each of these. For example, "student picks up orange, student might say, oranges have Vitamin C and heals wounds and bruises."
Students will also use them to show me and their peers how to put together a healthy meal. They will arrange these items in a type of MyPlate scenario
