As a teacher who believes in equity and representation, I strive to create a classroom where every student can see themselves reflected — not only in the books they read, but in the learning experiences we share. My students are creative, curious, and full of personality. In our bilingual classroom, we build community through teamwork, communication, and celebration. Every activity — from class discussions to collaborative games — is designed to honor students’ voices, cultures, and goals. Together, we learn that effort, empathy, and connection make us stronger as learners and as people.
