Although the start of this school year may be different with COVID-19 safety and health guidelines, I intend to make it an exciting and engaging year! As we leap into the school year, I will continue to do my part as an educator to keep my students working towards their learning goals!
My students require hands-on learning with access to manipulatives- dice, money, blocks, coins, shapes, etc. to build upon their math literacy skills. Using these materials to work on functional math skills to promote independence when out in their community. Some math skills we will work to develop are fractions, telling time, patterns, and computation. These math materials will work as handy tools to my mathematicians!
