Reading books aloud provides opportunities for my students to expand their English vocabulary and increase their comprehension skills. These books will provide engagement and enjoyment for multilevel proficiency levels. Reading to my students will provide language in context and language rich experiences. Reading will help my students with integration of their language skills to include listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These books will increase their appreciation for literature. Choosing these books present opportunities to build important foundational skills. I will be able to provide a model of fluent and expressive reading.

About my class
