The use of a document camera will enable me to effectively deliver my live lessons with an effective teacher model for my students. My school district as adapted the gradual release model as our prefered means of delivering instructions. Having a document camera will enable my students to view my teacher model ( I do) portion of the lesson as if we were still in the classroom doing face-to-face instruction. This will be especially useful when working on our math skills, our writing skills as well as when completing quick labs during our science lessons. I am also looking forward to working with my students who are reading below grade level during my intervention period. Again the use of a docu-cam will provide them with a visual as I help them to develop various reading skills that will help them to improve academically.
