In order to meet the guidelines for our return to school plan, our students must be 6 feet apart at all times in the classroom. All excess furniture will be removed from the classroom and replaced with learning spaces that are 6 feet apart.
While other students will be spending their days at desks, Lap Trays provide a more developmentally appropriate option for Kindergarteners.
These lap trays will allow each kindergartener space to store their own personal and school items.
These individual lap trays will be used in the classroom throughout the day, for all our learning activities. Students will store math manipulatives, craft supplies, and language arts materials, eliminating the need to move around the room to gather supplies.
This project will provide lap trays to students in three pods of kindergarten students this fall.
