Because we live in a rural area, many of our students do not have internet access. With these gift cards, I can purchase many projects for these students to do at home; more specifically novel projects. These projects will help the students not only be successful while reading, but also increase their want of reading. We can also use these lessons for cross curriculum activities. We are currently doing a split schedule, 2 days in school, 3-distance learning, but if we go totally distance learning these projects would be very useful in helping students learn.
