I have always run a very hands-on science class for students to interact with phenomena and discuss their observations with their peers, but with distance learning we have to do this in a new way.
In the 2020 classroom, there needs to be more lab stations and partnerships where some group members are at home. To accomplish this, I need to purchase high quality digital lab materials, earphones for communication with remote students, and the chemicals needed for my students to perform their experiments individually. With these items, I will be able to increase the engagement of both the in-person classroom, as well as the remote learners who will be able to stream video with their partners.
