Alphabet recognition and sounds, as well as counting, are important Kindergarten skills. Young children learn best when they feel like learning is, 鈥減laying鈥. I strive to offer lots of various experiences through play. Some of my students have never been to school before. The alphabetic tubs bring the letter sounds to life! The objects in each tub are items seen/held/touched in everyday life. The ice cream cones are an amazing activity to practice counting. What鈥檚 better than ice cream?! Students do well with a wide variety of manipulatives and activities to keep their little minds actively engaged. They will absolutely love playing (learning). Shhhh
