I will use the books I am requesting to enhance social-emotional learning as well as provide a culturally diverse education to my students. This will also allow me to demonstrate fluency in reading. These books will allow my students to see themselves within the books along with learning that everyone is unique and different. These books will help my students learn more about the world around them. The books will also provide me with the opportunity to demonstrate how to be a good reader and will also provide a story that they can relate to through their cultures and differences.

About my class
