My students will be able to Zoom with me and continue learning through asynchronous lessons and activities. Since my teacher laptop has a defective microphone that impedes my ability to talk to my students when distance learning, I will use this new laptop with a working microphone to teach my students how to read, write and enjoy math and science. Also, I will be able to record myself during lessons that I can later send to families that were unable to participate in the Zoom call that day. We are being asked by the district to do a minimum of 90 minutes a day in Zoom calls with the class. It is so important for my students to learn this year and not get left behind academically. Working technology is a must have for our new way of learning. Once we return to in person learning this new laptop will become part of my reading center where students can listen to online read aloud stories and interact with the activities that go with them.
