The materials I am requesting will allow the students in my two-way bilingual classroom to engage in reading material that is fun ,engaging and promotes critical thinking. All the books have been chosen with student interest, and academic success in mind. My students are a mix of one ­half native speakers of English and one half native speakers of Spanish. Flocabulary would be used in daily lessons, online and in person instruction to support student language arts skills,focus lessons and reading comprehension. With these books and magazines my students will have an opportunity immerse themselves in rich bi-literacy content that will allow them to read individually, independently and on grade level from home or in the classroom. With your help I would like to enrich their reading experience to promote reading proficiency in both languages.
