As a first year teacher trying to navigate my way through the roadblocks caused by Covid 19, I am challenged with the fact that I must teach my English Language Learners at a distance. ELL students learn best if they can access and use hands on activities and they need lots of visuals.
My goal is to provide all 135 students with hands on, personal, interactive learning binders full of activities that teach sight words, ABC's, numbers, shapes, colors and picture cards for them to keep and use at their desks and at home remotely. I will use these binders to broaden my students understanding of financial literacy by creating reading and writing activities.
