This year will be a challenging year for all students; in person or distance learners. By having access to a document camera, I can provide the same lesson to students sitting in my classroom and those learning from home.
It can be difficult to teach secondary math to students when only a webcam is available. Being able to sync this document camera up to my school computer could help me provide students with videos of math problems being completed. This will be a game changer for all visual learners!
Most students learn by example, and will recreate math problems using the same organizational techniques I use when doing similar problems. If students cannot see my example to use as a guide, they could get lost in their own work. I cannot wait to be able to interact with my students in a new way that will hopefully help them master new material!
