These “Time for Kids” magazines will help to get rich-print text into my students hands who are not able to access real world text in any other way. I am instilling a love for reading nonfiction text that is interesting and relevant to their own lives. A type of text that kids want to read and want to learn more about the different topics that the magazines provide. After students learn about a topic then they will research it more and begin to produce power points or Google Slides to present to the classroom.
