I work with 20 beautiful first graders every day. My students all come from low-income areas, but the hardships at home don't stop them from working hard. My school is a Title I school where 88% of the students receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch.
My favorite thing about my students is seeing their smiles every day.
I want to give my students everything they need to succeed. Some of my students have a hard time focusing and need a little time to wiggle and move. I want to implement flexible seating in my classroom. Flexible seating will make a difference in my students learning by allowing them to have better focus. Flexible seating will also help my students by allowing them to have chooses and control their environment.
