I have discovered during the first few weeks of school that my school-issued computer does not meet the challenge of distance learning! My students are ready, engaged, and patient - but then - alas! My computer can not keep up with them. Despite a well planned online lesson, it often does not go as planned due to technical difficulties. Fortunately, some of my colleagues have MacBooks, so they have shown me what is possible! I want to provide my students with the very best opportunity to be successful while they learn from home. This computer will allow me to provide creative and engaging lessons during this extended time at home, and eventually when face-to-face once again.

About my class
