My students love to use the small whiteboards in our classroom to share their thinking and their solutions to problems. There is something inviting about the smooth erasable surface that encourages them to take risks and share multiple solutions.
The dry erase kidney table will quickly become the central hub for learning with students gathering there independently to brainstorm and to create sketches of their ideas; they will join me for small group instruction and intervention.
When we gather at the table to work together, students often have lots of materials to manage. This table and dry erase markers will make small group instruction more manageable for my students. They won't have to juggle the books and boards and papers and pens. They will be able to write right on the surface of the table! I can't wait to see the excitement on my students' faces as they select their favorite color and make their mark, sharing their work on our collaborative surface!
