This project not only provides a book for every student to have at home during distance learning, but also affords them the opportunity to be guided through the rich vocabulary, themes and moral lessons provided in the classic C.S. Lewis book. "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." Our district provides soft reading books to the students, which contain short stories and excerpts from novels, but not class sets of an entire novel.
My goals for this project are; to inspire students to develop a love of reading novels, to discover the genres that interest them the most and introduce high quality literature in both English and Spanish.
By donating to our project, you will ultimately help to increase their academic and personal achievement through the love and magic of reading classic literature.
