Working from home during COVID distance learning makes hands-on computer repair activities challenging. This project will touch on multiple areas of our computer repair course, giving hands-on opportunities while students are working at home.
Using a combination of 3D printed parts and purchased components, students will build their own mini 3D printers, learning safety, assembly, and programming machine boards. Students will use these printers for learning 3D design later in the course. The multiple opportunities for learning, engagement, and creativity make this project a win for students and teachers alike.
