The materials selected for the children serve been intentionally selected to enhance their learning experience by taking into account their sensory needs as students in the autism spectrum (wobble chair) to sustain their attention for longer periods of time. Additionally would like to support them in developing their organizational skills by having all their daily resources available (pouches). I have also had the opportunity to observe their penmanship and acknowledge that my students will also benefit from pencil grips to ensure that their writing is legible and readable. Furthermore, I have observed my students having difficulty following the whole group reading virtually during online instruction. As a result, I would like to provide them with reading trackers to track the reading with a hard copy and minimize overstimulation. Last but not least, most of my wonderful students have demonstrated to have the foundational skills to decode grade-level text but have difficulty in their oral and written comprehension skills (pragmatics). As a result, I would like to use the sequence package to support my students in this area. The resources selected have been to improve their online experience and skills to increase academic growth.
