This kinder classroom is a fully inclusive, collaborative learning environment where students with diverse learning needs learn alongside their general education peers.As the SpEd teacher in this co-teach model,I work with the GE teacher to ensure all students have access to grade-level content and social learning.Our classroom serves kinder students with moderate support needs, including students who are non-verbal and utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to express themselves, make choices, and participate in classroom activities.Students receive specialized instruction and accommodations within the GE setting, allowing them to benefit from peer modeling, age-appropriate social interactions, and the rich language environment of a kinder classroom.
